winkylabs is a one-person software consultancy in Boulder, Colorado. It builds full-stack web and mobile apps and AI pipelines, and it works in a way that leaves a verifiable record: every project ships with tests, a plan that was kept current, and the session log of how it was built and what it cost.

The person behind it is Eric Blood — a software engineer since 1992 and a former engineering manager who now pairs with coding agents and engineers the guardrails around them. The work page shows what that produces: case studies with screenshots, the stack, and dated numbers from each project's own records. What it does

• Full-stack web and mobile. Browser apps, native iOS apps, and the back ends behind them, deployed wherever they need to run.
• AI pipelines. OCR and speech-to-text ingestion into a searchable index, LLM-assisted tooling, and the verification that keeps the results honest.
• Agentic engineering practice. Making agent-driven development work in a real codebase: per-repo contracts, plan and changelog discipline, verification seams an agent can use, and session telemetry that shows what a change cost. The agent workflow case study is the write-up.
